Palazzo delle Esposizioni is the heart of this edition of the Festival and it presents the exhibitions of three young photographers: Paolo Woods, Leonie Purchas and Lucia Nimcova, winner of the 1st FotoGrafia-Baume&Mercier International Award. On show in the Palazzo you will also find the new work by Gabriele Basilico on Rome for Commissione Roma FotoGrafia- Alcatel-Lucent, connected to the collective show “Roma”,  and the 1st FotoGrafia Book Prize.

Museo di Roma in Trastevere is once again one of the main location of the Festival.  It displays a project on the political tragedy of Birmania by Orit Drori, a glance on Tokio by Daniele Dainelli, the collective work by Francesco Cocco, Lorenzo Cicconi Massi, Daniele Dainelli and Massimo Siragusa. Furthermore, there is also the work of Sant’Egidio with the reportages by Riccardo Venturi and Giuliano Matteucci.
 

GNAM displays one the most important Israeli visual artists David Perlov and a show by Rossella Bellusci with a research on the perceptive transformations of the light.
 
 
 
 
 
 

The major FotoGrafia Baume&Mercier International Award has reached the second edition this year. The winner from last year, Lucia Nimcova, shows her work at Palazzo delle Esposizioni with a monographic catalogue.
 

For its 6th year the Commissione Roma- FotoGrafia Alcatel – Lucent has been realized by Gabriele Basilico with a project on the river Tiberim.
 
 

The project, realized during the workshop The Path of the Francigena Road lead by Olivo Barbieri and David Farrell with 10 young photographers, is a show exhibited at Ex GIL for its second year of Lazio, Terra a project promoted by Regione Lazio.
